The Schroth Method or Katharina Schroth Method is derived from the work finding of Katharina Schroth, her daughter Christa Lehnert-Schroth and grandson Hans Rudolf Weiss. The Katharina Schroth method is a three-dimensional treatment programme for scoliosis. The Schroth Method is a Physiotherapeutic Method for Deformities of the Spine created by Christa Lehnert-Schroth. The Schroth Method is well established in Europe, having been used in Germany since 1921. Katharina Schroth (1894-1985) developed the Schroth Method, based on her personal experience with scoliosis as a teen. The Schroth method is a non-surgical method for the treatment of scoliosis, which has been used successfully in Europe since 1921. The clinic offers the Katharina Schroth method, a physiotherapy-based treatment for spinal deformities, such as scoliosis.

Treatment

Scoliosis SOS is the only clinic to offer the ScolioGold method of treatment. A combination of internationally renowned scoliosis treatments, which have been practiced separately in Europe for several decades, the results achieved by ScolioGold are second to none.

Each patient works in very small groups following an individual exercise programme, specifically designed to meet their needs.

The individual approach taken to treatment means it can be easily adapted to treat people with kyphosis, postural problems and muscular back pain as well as scoliosis.

In addition to the exercise therapy, patients are taken through the theory behind their condition, ensuring that they fully understand how to help their symptoms and live an active, full life.
